tell me about Belle Fourche (Rapid City, Vermillion: movie theater, university, taxi)

Presently living in Vermillion and thinking of moving to Belle Fourche. I have already tried my best to find out all that I can by using Google, etc. The things that I am curious about; what are the people like? What kinds, if any, of public transportation are there?
It would be best to hear from a present resident. If you feel there is anything
left out of mt query that you feel I should know, by all means add it!!!

Hi Mystic, from the way it's been appearing, we don't have any West River people here to answer questions that people may have.

I have lived in Belle Fourche for over 25 yrs. It's a nice little town. About 15 miles from Speafish and an hour from Rapid City. It is cheaper to live here than in Spearfish, however jobs are more available in Spearfish. It's a nice commute. We have Taco Johns, Hardee's, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, couple of grocery stores, Pamida (discount store), bowling alley, a rec center and nice parks. Mostly a housing town, not much of a business town. There are a couple of taxi's in town, we aren't big enough to have buses or anything like that.

Spearfish has Super Walmart, Maurices, Kmart, Applebee's, Burger King, other great eateries, a movie theater, a fish hatchery, soon a water park and Culver's. A university is in Spearfish that has a rec center.
