Default Mac people in Brookings?

Hi - my little sister lives in Brookings. I'm sending her my old Mac Tower. Anyone know of a Mac Geek or two in Brookings that could help if she needed it for setup? Thanks!

There should be in in a college town. Names escape me.

Connecting Point deals with Mac's, they have an office in Watertown. Might be something in Brookings.

If its a Mac, it shouldn't require much setup. I'd be willing to help, but I'm not in Brookings...

Usually the school has tech support. Most larger universities have it. It's just a room full of nerdy kids that love computers... my crowd.

Yer gonna crack up -- it's a 2000 Tower G4 with dual drives. Still humming along just fine. Had my Mac Geek do a diagnostic on it and he said it has at least a year or two left in the old girl.

My little sis has Aspergers Syndrome. She stays home all day and I want her to have access to communities like this. I will also have her help me with some research projects. She didn't need anything all that snazzy. I wrote all over the thing in pen and put little notes on each piece. So i can probably talk her through it.

I'll try the University at Brookings, they may have someone...

thanks!

That's a perfectly usable Mac!

My younger brother was diagnosed with Asperger's/Autism as well... So I totally know what you mean...
