Hi Lucky, what brings you to Wall? The link above has a few pics on it and some info. Wall Drug is mainly what keeps the town alive and as you can tell, the town is quite small. You'll be fairly close to the Badlands so you may want to check them out. Good luck to you.

Will you be working at Wall Drug for the summer? Wall is a small town on the high plains and it's about 50 miles east of Rapid City and the Black Hills. You will probably be going to Rapid City frequently for shopping, entertainment, going out to eat, etc. Wall has about 800 people but it's very busy with tourists during the summer months.

I don't know for sure if there's any bus line from Wall to Rapid City but I'm sure that you'll get to know many people and they'll be traveling between the two places constantly. If you like peace and quiet, you'll love Wall!

I did a quick search on Greyhound.com and found that they run from Wall to Rapid for $18.50 (non-refundable) and $22.50 (refundable), and for round trip it is $37.00 (non-refundable) and $43.00 (refundable). Those are probably your only options out there, but I could be wrong.

bus stops at the wall livery, use to be the BP gas station but says "wall livery" on the builkding,,, they have a lot of rodeos in the summertime there, and you can hunt fossils and gemstones in the badlands in some areas,,, I am a guide and can let you in on some very cool things to do,,,, gold panning, agate hunting, fishing , hiking, biking and good places to eat also,,, I dont book too many tours these days, I am retired,, and selling a little tourist cabin I have ,which is 5 minutes from wall drug store in wall sd..
