Nope, not just you! It's a good thing to see! I won't even try to convince them to consider SF...

I like Sioux Falls. But Rapid is better!

Yea, we East Riverers are outnumbered now. It's ok though. Any place in our state that does well helps all of us. I like both Sx. Falls and Rapid City, but I've gotta say that I really do like the scenery in the Hills better then ours.

Jammie... Living in Sioux Falls is like marrying a girl for JUST her personality. Nothing wrong with that but pretty scenery makes it a lot more fun.

Thanks, everyone for the welcome! It is good to be home, but I don't remember where ANYthing is! Rapid looks so different, and I didn't spend much time in the northern hills, so I am going to have to learn my way around. Actually got lost in Rapid for a few minutes today!

Today was fun, but apparently I must have gotten used to being a flat-lander! I *really* was not fond of the Needles drive! LOL! It was beautiful, but I was glad when it was over! Apparently, my car is having a bit of trouble manuevering the heights, too. Thankfully, my dad and dh were able to MacGuyver it together, and we got down without further incident ~ apparently, I need a new throttle cable!

Took my daughter to Center and Sylvan Lakes today to show her where I camped and fished as a kid. She loved them both, and she can't wait to go back to go fishing! Did the wildlife loop at Custer, and got very up close and personal with the locals! Amazing!

About your car~hopefully one of the guys will know what I'm referring to, but there is something about re-setting your computer or something for different elevations. It's something about going to one of the highest summits you'll be around and stopping your car. Somehow a car's computer can reset itself and perform better in your new elevation.

Not sure how accurately I described that cause I don't know much about it so maybe someone can give you more info on that.

RJL, that's cute. LOL Our area over here is nice and it seems like our economy is always a bit better then over there, BUT we really can't compete with the scenery.

The cars computer should be able to adjust to altitude without any outside help messing with a computer.
