Default Rapid City fireworks

Does anyone know where I can find a list of places that have firework shows over the holiday weekend (the locations, times, etc).. if there is a list out there? (Except the Mt. Rushmore ones.. I don't think I'm going to that one this year.)

I'm trying to get a list made and figure out the locations so I can decide what we are going to do. The last couple years in Fargo we didn't even bother going to fireworks.. just hung out at home, did sparklers and smokey thingys and watched some illegal neighborhood ones popping up here and there. I'm kinda hoping we can just stay home and see some from here. But haven't decided yet lol. (can you tell how indecisive I am LOL)

Here is a good list of the biggys in the area at the
Rapid city journal
The memorial park display is decent, and the speedway and elks club are both out in the valley, and they are both fairly good. Nothing compares to Rushmore’s display, but that is a pain to get to. You can watch that one on TV. Usually KEVN (fox) has that one on.

East on Highway 44 like you are heading to the airport. Can't think of the cross street right off top of my head. The speedway is right off of Highway 44.

Thanks! I know where you are talking about now. We heard the cars racing Sunday night and could see the lights from our building. I bet I can watch those fireworks from home

Figures the link dies (Rapid City journal is not the greatest at keeping with web compliance standards) just go to the home page. Under local news there should be a link that reads "Fireworks shows, parades planned". That is this year’s info. Like I and others have said, the elks lodge and the speedway fireworks are probably your best bet. Happy Independence Day!
