Sylvan Lake is a beautiful spot and apparently pretty popular - each year we have seen weddings being performed there. Wherever you decide, you better get hopping!
Oh, I just realized you didn't mention outdoor wedding. The wedding at Wickiup Village Cabin Camp was an outdoor deal. It seems like all the good weddings I shoot in the Hills are outdoor ones and that's what I was thinking. Wickiup couldn't handle an indoor wedding.
We attended a wedding that was held at the Spearfish Fish Hatchery on the lawn behind the DC Booth home. Beautiful setting. The reception/dance was across the road in the Spearfish campground at The Snapper Club. It's a rustic stone lodge with a kitchen. The rehearsal dinner was also held there. It was a smaller wedding with about 150 guests. I was impressed. Some of the guests brought their campers and some of the younger crowd pitched tents to avoid driving after the dance.
Hey everyone! Thanks so much! I really appreciate this. Just gotta talk to my man now.
