Default Employment and Job's in Elk Point, S.D?

Im currently living in Burwell, Nebraska where Ive been for the past 4 years after serving 8 years in the U.S Navy. I'm currently in the process of considering a move to Elk Point and looking for employment in or around the Elk Point or Sioux City area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks -Rob

Is there a specific job/career you are looking into?
I'm not sure about jobs in Elk Point. If the oil refinery is built (down the road of course), jobs will be plentiful.
Sioux City will have a larger job market.... and Sioux City is just a short jog down the interstate.

I agree with MJ1986. There are opportunities in Sioux City, both on the South Dakota and Iowa side. Maybe even the Nebraska side. Another avenue is if you find a job with the university (University of South Dakota) in Vermillion, which is eight miles northwest. Elk Point is less than 20 miles from Sioux City.

If you are willing to do call center-type work, North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes (on the South Dakota side of the state border) collectively have several call center places that may be of interest to you.
