Question motorcycle weather

My wife and I want to go to Rapid City , rent a couple of Harleys and ride for three days. What weather will we likely have the first week in October?

First week of October is usually very nice riding weather. I'd say lower 70s with nighttime lows around 40-45. However, there could be a heatwave or a blizzard too. You never know in the Dakotas!

First week in october its a crap shoot. Personally I love the early rides when the air is crisp with a bit of chill.

It would be a great time for riding Spearfish Canyon and badlands.

The weather can vary a lot. Dress on layers and it should be so bad.

Here are the averages for Rapid City~

Average Weather for Rapid City, SD - Temperature and Precipitation

Keep in mind that our weather is a bit crazy up here sometimes so it's hard to say for sure what it will be.
