Chamberlain - any good restaurants??
Will be in Chamberlain on business in two weeks, wonder if there are any good restaurants. Cost isn't a factor - the nicer the better. Any unique pizza places.
Thanks, any help woukld be great.
Never been to South Dakota and I fear there isn't anything in Chamberlain. I'll be flying into Sioux Falls and driving over

The good place to eat is Al' Oasis. Other than fast food the other place would be the Anchor Grill.
But Al's is where I stop if I am hungry. A friend of mine drives tour buses and Al's is like #1 on his speed dial on his cell phone.

I live in Chamberlain grew up here. There are a lot of places to eat. For fast food there is DairyQueen, McDonalds,Taco Johns, Subway, Arby's, The Silver Dollar Bar and Casey's West Plaza. For nice restaurants Cedar Shore Resort , the best, ummm wife is manager there no bias here, Als Oasis, The Derby which is quite nice and unique, The Marina, Pizza Hut, and Charlies. This town is growing and expanding. Quite a nice area in my opinion.

You won't find anything fancy in Chamberlain.
Cedar Shores has a restaurant within the hotel... It's located on the west side of the Missouri River (in Oacoma). Casey's Cafe and Al's Oasis are the other two I can think of.

Do Al's Oasis for lunch and Cedar Shores for evening dinner. You'll be pleased.

You could also drive, to Lower Brule, or Ft. Thompson, and eat @ The Golden Buffalo or Lode Star Casino.....(my favorite is Prime Rib @ Golden Buffalo)
Golden Buffalo Casino Restaurant
Lode Star Casino & Hotel
Both restaraunts have menus as well as bufffets.......

Any decent Chinese places - sometimes I just have a huge craving for Chinese food. I'm not a fan of buffets
