Default Stores in RC and/or SF

I have a few questions about stores in RC and SF. I realize SF is quite a bit bigger and going to have more stores than RC.

What does RC have in the way of bookstores? I love to read.

Is there a Best Buy in either city? If not what kind of electronic stores can we look forward to?

Are there any new age type stores in either city? I realize this one is a reach but hey, I'll ask anyway.

One last question

Are there any Big and Tall stores in either city? I'm not expecting too much with this one either. It's always possible for us to shop online, and have things shipped. Hubby is 6"7 and normal clothes just wont do

Thanks for the help everyone!

Well, Rapid City has a Borders right outside the mall next to the Best Buy but I think that may be the only 'new' bookstore there......I think downtown there are some shops that might sell some books and I'm sure there are a couple book resellers there as well. I know Sioux Falls has a couple bookstores in the mall area as well as a Best Buy and a Big & Tall.....not sure about the new age stores because I don't know what they are

Well, you lose an hour going from Sioux Falls to Rapid City, so its 9am here and its 8am in Rapid City, I usually make the drive in about 5-6 hours total time depending on how many stops I make and what exactly I'm doing on that particular trip, if I'm playing tourist I'll stop at Al's Oasis and Wall Drug but if I'm not then I'll drive pretty much straight through.

Kisses - since we just recently came back from RC and live in Tucson I can tell you for a reference that the Best Buy outside of the mall is about 1/3 the size of the one down on Broadway off Wilmot in Tucson. The one in RC is extremely well organized and clean.

The Borders is a very good size; bigger than the one in Park Mall.

You'll have to forgive me. I'm so used to being in a larger city (550k) that 60k feels unbelievably small. I'm probably picturing it a lot smaller than it truly is. Though I'd rather be prepared than be in for a shock of what they do and don't have.

Sioux Falls has a Best Buy, Barnes and Nobles, a few other smaller bookstores, and a Big and Tall Store. It is 350 miles from Sioux Falls to Rapid City and takes about 5 hours to drive the distance.

Rapid City has a Border's, Waldenbooks, and some smaller bookstores downtown too. Best Buy, Target, and even Office Depot will have all the electronics you need. Global Market is a large "new age" store downtown too. There is also an Ernie November on Main Street.
