Debey, how wonderful of you to start this thread. I'd also like to thank our troops and their families for all their service and sacrifice. I'd also like to recognize the selfless souls who now go to airports to welcome our troops home. It's such an improvement over the unwelcoming attitudes of the VietNam era.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and peaceful Veteran's Day and uses it to honor those who've given part of their lives or entire lives to keep us safe and free.

Been watching the Fox football pre-game show from Afghanistan. Good job all around - hope many of you saw it.
Just noticed there is no parade or ceremony in SF on the 11th per SiouxFallsevents.com.

Thank you. I was in the guards for six years only, but my family is well represented. Brother in the Air Force, one in the Navy, and I in the Army. No Marines.
