The last couple years I have been noticing that the sun is this smokey white and 1000% brighter and more intense than it used to be.

I remember as a kid being able to stare up at the sky during the day and now I can't even pick my head up from the ground unless I am wearing sunglasses.

In all seasons despite whatever temperature it is.... the sun appears 1000% more intense and bright.

Every single day for the last couple years feels like someone is holding reflective metal pointing the sun at me.

Even on a cold day the sun feels like its burning me.

Am I alone in this?

I hope so, because nothing has happened to make the sun ten times brighter, unless you were on Mercury when you noticed this difference.

The sun does appear brighter seasonally, from Fall through Winter, because the Earth is closest to the sun at this time.

Also, your pupils may not be able to contract as well as when you were younger.

Discuss this with your doctor. You could have a serious medical condition or drug side-effect that causes it. Unless you moved south or to an area with higher ensolation, no, the sun appears now as it has for years.
