Enjoy. It's probably going to be fifty years or so before another probe makes the journey to Pluto. And most predictions were that Pluto was a barren ice ball. It goes to show that the universe is full of surprises.

Most predictions assume we are the only beings in the Universe. Why does everyone assume other beings will be just like us and have the same limitations as humans wrt temperature, environment, habitat, etc ?

It IS possible that some kind of alien being could live on Pluto with all its ice and glaciers and could live on other planetoids too where the habitat is not suitable for humans.

I dunno, but this image certainly looks to me as if someone is living there right now. This photo comes from the New Horizon images released by NASA in previous months. Others may see it as just a strangely regular shape in the ice glacier or an oddity on the mountain.


My main point still stands though, why assume other beings have to live with human limitations?
