The Webb Telescope is scheduled to launch in October 2018. The video below tells of the discoveries we can expect to make from it. I do hope that once Webb is launched it unfolds properly and everything works as it's supposed to because at one million miles from earth it will be beyond the reach of repair crews, at least for now. It would be a major disappointment if Webb doesn't function as it's designed to. That's why engineers and technicians are painstakingly testing all of the parts to ensure that everything goes well.
