Hope this trend doesn’t continue. Giant disco ball satellite “humanity star” will strobe out for 9 months. I find this disturbing, as does the astrophysicist community.

"real" scientists have always got their undies in a bunch whenever their territory has been infringed on by "think-outside-of-the-box" scientists like Dr. Frankenstein or myself.
