The discovery of naturally occurring HeH+ in space provides even more confirming evidence lending support to the 'big bang' model of the origin of the universe since it was the first molecule to form once the universe cooled enough after the big bang to allow for the formation of atoms, and then molecules.

I was expecting it to be H2 molecules or lithium hydride; never saw that one coming.
