16 Psyche mission

NASA is in the final planning stages for the mission to 16 Psyche.

It is set for a 2022 launch. To me the mission concept is a pretty good one: not only do we get mineralogical information for future asteroid mining operations, but we also get to directly examine what was probably once part of a (proto)planetary core. A win for both science and economics.

Hopefully some politician won't stupidly decide to cancel it.
