Hi,
Me + hubby + 2 kids will be relocating from Malaysia in Jul/Sep '12. I will be working at CVG Airport while hubby will be working from home.
I have 2 children; a 4yr old boy (born normal but suffered Shaken Baby Syndrome under the care of a babysitter when he was 4months old), & a 3yr old girl (normal). He's verbal, can see, active, shy, & mobile but with poor fine motor skills,
Ideally I would like to send both kids to the same school.
Can I get some advise on the following?
1. KY or OH for a school system with good special education?
2. Which school district amongst the ones below would you recommend for my boy?
a. Beechwood Independent School District, KY?
b. Fort Thomas Independent School District, KY?
c. Sycamore Community City, OH?
d. Deer Park Community City, OH?

Thanks in advance for your advice + time.
You may want to post in the Ohio and Kentucky forums for more local opinions. It is very hard to compare special education unless you know the specific schools and I am in Texas, so I cannot speak to those communities.
I am from the Midwest, so i have some knowledge of the Midwest systems. From what I know, Midwest special educatin is crumbling fast due to low funds. Illinois especially is taking hits..I still have family with kids in the schools in the Chicago area. I currently work in special education in Florida and see better things here than I did up north. The previous poster has thebest suggestion though : )
