I have a 10 year old that has had a many different diagnoses over the years. Where I live, in Northern California, it depends on what he has been diagnosed with as to which programs he qualifies for. Interestingly, we moved to Idaho for 5 years when he was 3 because Idaho provided the most amazing intervention. But it wasn't in the school district, it was through the state/counties.
All parts of california are different. Some districts way better then others.

I too am looking for a school for my autistic daughter. We live in nebraska and are willling to relocate anywhere we have to the public schools here are fine but she needs more specialized attention then they can give. She does have behavioral issues that disrupt the whole classroom.Money is no issue have someone willing to help pay for a private school for her. Please if anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated.
