I have a son, Olu 11 months, born with an extra chromosome. Anyone know the best funded state to live in for children with special needs? I live in the 50th underfunded state, Illinois. I am looking to locate the states and begin a rebirth of Illinois special needs agenda. I have come to the idea of trying to duplicate the best models here in chicago, Illinois. Can any one offer me any help. Best state funded? Best supportive communities? Cities with highest number of extra chromosome people? State where typical chromosome people best support extra chromosomal people? Any thoghts?
