Default Best Apartments in the Spokane Area?

Hi! My wife and I are wanting to move to Washington State and have been looking into the Spokane area and were wondering what are the best areas. We have heard Spokane Valley would be the place but we really have no clue and there are SO many apartments but can only afford 600/mth for rent. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Canyon Bluffs - not ghetto, close to downtown, right off highway 195 and 90 and somewhat "isolated" from the hustle and bustle/street traffic.

We know people who live/lived there and there were no complaints. Of course, for $600 looks like ya'll can only afford a studio apt.

I have been looking at a place called Meadow Ridge in Spokane Valley which is a Riverstone owned place and I've heard nothing but negative comments from Apartment reviews.com so I'm a bit concerned. Spokane needs a social forum like we have here I co-owned one and we had 5000 active members and we are not near the size of Spokane.

kelso here's a good property management company that has houses for rent under $600 a month, you have to pay all utilities but most apartments you have to pay all too, so no difference. check out other property managment companies in spokane by doing a google seach. mt property managment has gotten good reviews on this forum. so here's windemere property management link:. Spokane Home Rentals :: Property Management :: Homes :: Houses for Rent - Welcome

they have a good rep with people i know, so even though the review sites may have neg on them i know people who've had good results with them. good luck.

kelso; also if you decide to go with renting a house note that water/sewer/trash fees vary big time depending on what area in spokane or spokane valley that you pick so check that out before you decide. some areas have a flate fee $40/month and other areas they can run well over $100 a month for w/s/t.
