Default Best area in Spokane to raise a family

We are relocating to Spokane from Tacoma to get away from the rain and expensive housing. How bad are the winter's there and what are the best school districts. Thank you.
Kevin

I have a list of all the school district websites that I can send to you -- how old are your children (elementary, middle or high school age)? I have found that most all of the public schools in Spokane have good ratings, but as you can imagine, a lot depends on the individual child and their attitude towards school.
I work with a lot of families who are moving here from other areas. I think a lot will depend on what part of town you want to live in, or if you want to be in a smaller, more rural outlying area. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.

South Hill, hands down! We have lived on the South Hill for over 8 years and 2 years ago we moved to a different school district on the South Hill, keeping our son in the same school. They have a new principle but most of the teachers are so great i couldn't move my son. He truly had the best 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade teachers i could ever hope for. He is now in the 5th grade and i like his teacher, but not as much i did his 4th grade. Truly they are all great, some are just better then others. South Hill, Adams Elementary! Wanna buy my house! JK - My husband has been offered a jobe elsewhere so sadly we have to relocate to another state!

Is it??? Mine is based on personal experience which is worth so much more than any stats you find. The teachers are dedicated at my sons school are dedicated to making sure the kids get the best education, and they have all been against the WASL teaching plan, yet had the balance that the kids need in order to still pass the stupid test. What you don't know is that most Spokane schools are so focused on the WASL testing which means there is little to know time left for anything else. Sad but true fact.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was just going to say that! Stay in Montana!!!!!! We have been in Spokane for five months after leaving the Bitterroot Valley and can't stand it here. If you like Montana you will despise Spokane. I could go on and on but don't want to offend anyone.
