Well, I do miss California for many reasons.....one being the Weather.

I initially wanted to move back to North San Diego County.....Fallbrook/Temecula/Valley Center/Ramona/Murrieta. BUT.......haha, prices have gone insane in that area.....no way I can even look at those areas. So I would be willing to move out to Riverside/Riverside County if I can find a good deal with some space (1/2 acre). No way would I move back and rent.....I will stay here in Spokane before that happens.

All in all.....I actually like Spokane quite a bit!

Don't get me wrong... I can long for the Southern Ca weather too. Especially in the middle of a big snowstorm or a very cold snap. Then I remind myself that the extreme weather keeps a vast majority of people from moving here.
I do not have too much experience with northern San Diego County, except I hear it gets hot in the Summer, same as Riverside county. San Diego Wild Animal Park was one of our favorite destinations BTW. We would visit the park in early Spring to avoid the heat. I do not like heat very much. My Sister lives in Rancho Cucamonga and it gets crazy hot out there in the Summer.
I like Spokane quite a bit too, especially far north Spokane where I live on 10 acres. (Wandermere area)
I am very fortunate to have a good job/career and live in a very nice area of Spokane.

Yeah ticky, it looks like the CA good times boat Really Cheap Real Estate sailed a year or two ago.

Yes, just about anywhere in S California, when you get more than 10 miles away from the water.....you are going to roast in the summer. Riverside is no different......4 month out of the years is going to be REAL hot. I don't care for real hot weather, that is why I left Tucson(6-7 months of broiling heat) after 18 months. I could handle the heat of Riverside ok.

I really like the lower population density of Spokane...... as compared to both Seattle and Southern California. You go into a store here and it great, breathing room. In Ca most of the times everywhere you go is packed.

Well, I believe the price rises can and possibly are creating another housing bubble......what is going on in many areas is just not sustainable.

I could afford to move back to California. But I want to buy a place with at least 1/2 acre, cannot stand the thought of living too close to some moron. So we will see.....I would not mind staying in Spokane.

Today was gorgeous.....sunny and almost warm. I like Spokane, weather and all, so much more than that overpriced yuppie heaven I grew up in....Seattle.

If I cannot find a good deal back in California, well, I am going to stay here..........screw Seattle and that constant rain......and all the stinky Yuppies/liberals/Urban Hipsters.

Ah. Sounds like summer in Spokane.

Sort of like a charitable description of a McDonald's hamburger as "meatlike, and almost food."

Well, I wanted to buy a place in North San Diego county. BUT, prices are bubbling up big time in that area. So if I was to move back to CA, I guess I would have to move to somewhere in Riverside County.
