...and what, WN, profession that is known for misuse of statistical data in order to draw a conclusion/prove an angle are you in? oh yeah, its journalism isn't it?

WN, why are you so bound and determined to dis Spokane? I'm sure no one thinks there is no crime in Spokane, but according to you, the only place worse is Bagdad. C'mon, thats yellow journalism at its worst. You've really let your personal opinion sway your analysis of the data out there.

they both are heavily coorelated to an influx of crime there sparky. what's your point? since you can't disprove the fact spokane is a crime-ridden city, we're now going to speak in riddles?

you were dismissive of the fact i actually lived in the area earlier, because, without thinking, believed i lived on-campus in cheney. why the interest now? i told you i went to college there and took 90 percent of my classes at the spokane center. what difference does it make? the numbers speak for themselves.

Actually, I had you pegged for Spokane Community College since you only spent two years here. You're an Eagle? Me too. Who would have thought we'd have something in common?

Just curious of the years you actually spent living in Spokane. Cities and regions change over time and nothing is static. I'm sure your travels have taught you that. You have a boatload of negative opinions of this region (see earlier post about Northern Idaho) based on the time you spent here. So what was it? 20 years ago? 15 years ago? 10 years? C'mon, it'll help everyone here understand how relevant your perspective on the Inland Northwest really is.

metro - graduated in 1994. and, as i said, i spent a good amount of time downtown. i transferred to ewu with 120 credits, spent four quarters wrapping up my undergraduate and another year working at the spokesman ... wife worked in the valley.

put in quite a bit of time in montana, camping in kalispell and missoula at glacier and on the blackfoot. also spent every summer as a teen in ephrata-wenatchee,

my brother has lived the past 12 years outside cheney.

Default come on guys!

The bottom line is.....just look at the numbers. How perfect or imperfect they are.....they DO give a pretty good overview! No matter how you twist, turn, manipulate, add or subtract them-SPOKANE HAS A CRIME PROBLEM!

It seems from y'alls posts who live there, you don't have much negative to say about your town. It can't be THAT perfect, can it? Just buck up and admit that the numbers are concerning...again...no matter how exact they are! Accept it!

Hey, I'm glad I made #1! I was hoping top 10, maybe.

I'll admit that there looks to be a crime problem in Spokane if you'll admit that its not as bad as Bagdad, although I haven't checked Bagdads stats.
