Default Spokane Neighborhoods

Hi there! My family and I are relocating to Spokane, and I was wondering what neighborhoods would be decent for a family. Since we are looking for homes 100k and under, I wanted to make sure we do not end up in some drug/hooker infested slum.Is there any decent neighbohoods with cheap housing??Or what neighborhoods would be a definate no no for a young family?
Also my husbands a Toyota mechanic. Any feedback on the dealerships there would be great!Thank You!!!!!

Shix,

Ouch. You better take a look at the home listing for this area. 100K and lower will almost guarantee that you will be a home that is either in need of major repair, is very old, is very worn down or is in a less than desirable neighborhood. You would need, in my humble oppinion, to go up to the $175,000 range to get to nicer homes.

Not saying that you can't find something in this range, but it won't be easy.

Up to $100,000 will be tough to find unless you're really handy with fixer-uppers. But I can probably help you with the mechanic situation - my hubby is a used car dealer and has a lot of connections with the new car dealers. Get in touch with me if you'd like some names & numbers.
