so.. spokane
So me and my girlfriend are thinking about moving to Spokane in mid to late summer. How hard is it to get a job? residence ship? people friendly? give me the low down.. and don't just say dirty.. i come from California... near LA.. it cant be as bad as us. =) main reason im moving is 1) to get away from the people 2) school 3) to start a new life.. anyways... repost on here.. or email me at

any kind of work really.. ill be going to community college up for there about a year then hopefully Washington state... so any job that i can get to pay for my apartment, etc.. and thanks for the comment =)

Utilities in Spokane? Plus a few more :)
Hello, I'm moving to Spokane in a few months, and I am just trying to figure out my budget. In an apartment, 1 or 2 bedroom, about how much are the utilities (gas/water/electric/etc...)? Also, I've been seeing quite a few apartments or condos on Craigslist for around $475-$550. How is that compared to the real rental rates going on there? Excessivly low? About right? I'm moving from Las Vegas, where it's about $800 for a studio right now in a decent area, so I'm sort of leary about the prices. Any suggestions on a good neighborhood for a single 27 year old female and a cat? My job is going to be in Spokane Valley.
