Default Spokane area casino jobs

Hi everyone,
Moving up from Vegas with my wife and 1 year old daughter in about 2 months. I dealt blackjack and others at major casinos here in Vegas for about 7 years and was wondering if anyone had any idea about that job market up there for blackjack or poker dealers.
I've read some on the NorthernQuest northwest of spokane but was also wondering about all the little casino's I've heard about throughout Spokane.

Thank you for any help we really aprreciate it.

Hi Balco9,
I've got a list of all these "mom & pop" type casinos. They seem to be bars, bowling alleys and clubs with just a few tables going. Curious as to what the are like, dark nasty places or? Havn't dealt in about 5 years(I do some web design and other things now) but was thinking I might want to look into some exrta money when we move up there.

Thanks for the heads up about Wendy, I'll look for a response.

Hey all - thanks for the kind words, Balco. Unfortunately I know very little about casinos here - I'm not much of a gambler. I've been to Northern Quest - it's definitely the nicest casino around here and is undergoing expansion with the addition of a hotel on the property. The bowling alleys have casinos in them, as well as some of the bars. My suggestion would be to do a google search and find their websites to see whether any of them are hiring. Good luck!

There is a small casino in the Hooter's. I just went there for the first time last week, and can honestly say they have the nicest people working there than I've ever encountered in a casino. Another one would be Players and Spectator's. Both are in Spokane Valley, but both are nicer than the ones you would find in the bars/bowling alleys, in my opinion.

There is also Silver Lanes up on South Hill. They have 8 tables and a nice bar down stairs.

Most of the Indian casino jobs here are for the most part low paying/minimum wage type.

The Coeur’d Alene casino (located in Worley, ID) is nice sized, similar to some of LV’s larger off-strip/local casinos. However, the don’t have any table games.

Northern Quest (located just outside Spokane) is smaller in size but does have about 25 or so table games. Their casino/hotel expansion has been shelved for awhile, but they are continuing with the landscaping and preconstruction work.

Can’t speak for the bar casinos as we don’t go to them.

The only thing with Qwest Casino is that i heard the tipping is bad!!!
There is no drinking at the tables, only in certain area's. This is so
they allow minors to gamble. You make most tips from winner's
who have been drinking a few. Just my two cents.....
