Great pics, kfeuer! I esp. love the first one with all the beautiful fall colors and the reflections in the water. Thanks for sharing!

new picture
It is absolutely lovely here today so I stopped by the dam to take a picture of the river flowing over the Nine Mile Falls dam at Charles Road.

More pics
I live in Phoenix, AZ., but my husband has family in Spokane. Here are a few pictures from a couple of our trips. I didn't have too many that hadn't already been posted by someone else.

ASU grad,
Great pics! I have really enjoyed looking at everyones pics on this thread. We are moving to the Spokane area the end of this month! I am so excited!!! I grew up a few hours away in Wenatchee and my husband used to live in Kellogg, Idaho. After a lot of research, we compromised and decided on moving to the Spokane area. Someday after we get settled I'd like to add my own pics to the collection started here.

Thanks BornIn. I'm headed up to Spokane in just over a week, and I'm really looking forward to it. The last time we visited during a summer, we were blamed for bringing the hot weather with us. We were hoping to get out of the 100+ degree weather we have here in Phoenix, but we didn't get much relief. The day we left it was in the 80's with a beautiful breeze, so maybe we did bring the heat!

Oh Spokane,
How I do adore thee. I would like to go to Eastern for Grad School (among many others). I always feel a strange sense of attachment to Spokane, even though I've never lived there. I'm from the West Side, but I think I'm done with the rain (I can confidently say that, now that we've had sunshine for about a month now...)

Lake Spokane on a Sunny Sunday
met some kayakers while boating on Sunday while enjoying the hot weather and cool lake! Kids and brave adults jump off the rocks into the water in photo #2.
