I'll be moving my family to Spokane next summer (I am originally from Seattle and now living in Louisiana) and I will be coming to check out the area in the fall, but I am curious about the cost of childcare. Here in central LA I pay $75/week for full time care for my 5 year old. Part time during the school year is $45 dollars. I know it will probably be higher up there in WA, I'm just not sure if it will be prohibitively expensive. Also, can anyone recommend anything? Right now my daughter is at a center that caters toward older school children (she is one of the youngest), so she has a lot of freedom during the day: movie theater, art room, computer room, basketball court/playgrounds, etc. Is there anything similar in Spokane?
