Well, this past Feb. and March, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenues were so pot-holed that pretty well defeats the speeding ticket theory...

Also, is it just me or are the lines really hard to see on the freeway. We've been there in spring and fall and it always freaked me out not being able to tell where the lanes really are. :~/ D

That's why they call it a freeway - you're free to drive anywhere there's pavement!! Just kidding...usually the lines are repainted over the summer months to prepare for winter when they get scraped away by plows and snow tires. I have seen a lot of freshly painted lines on many Spokane streets. I'm not sure about when they do I-90. If you've been here in the spring, you probably are seeing the results of winter wear & tear.

could be true
I've noticed one road that as soon as you cross an intersection from city to county goes from 35 or 30, to 25. Could be the county just need more traffic ticket revenue.
