I've always enjoyed tennis. Even as a kid I would watch intently and try to even emulate the common poses I see. Never got the skills to go pro but it's fun enough just having a game or two. Late last year I also picked up archery with a buddy, with a little push from my brother and this page. Did pick up a few more related stuff but can't use them now, what with the pandemic and all...

Interesting. As a long-time racquetball player the things that stand out to me are:

1. No goggles? I guess the ball isn't moving as fast.
2. No hinder calls? They don't seem to make any effort to get out of each other's way.

I clicked on "other". The gym I used to go to got rid of their racquetball courts, but that was by far my favorite. Very fast moving even if you're not a great player.

I notice how old the thread is. Today there would be a high-scoring entry for pickleball.

On the poll, the choice "other" has almost double the votes than the others. I'm pretty sure pickleball would be the one.

Default Rasslin

Welp, when we were kids, of course, professional style wrestling (rasslin) was fun Though we also wrestled at the YMCA, under a watchful coach and under strict amateur rules and safety, of course, it was fun to set up a ring(which I would never let my kids do now) and wrestle...or rassle.

Now after cololege back then, when a rasslin school opened, I was way too small to be considered. But after htting middle age, meeting and becoming friends with indy pro wrestlers, I did do a few "works" which showed that It is not right for me.

BUT as far as when my friends and I would do "rasslin" as a recreational sport, I think we were in our early 30s when he picked me up for a body slam but my knee accidently hit his eye. He had to go to work with a black eye the next day and try to explain why a grown man was "rasslin" with his friend in the living room......

No we were not pooves or anything like that, we just loved watching and doing rasslin.....

"None" is the answer right now because of back and foot problems.

Tennis was the answer before last Fall.

Well I certainly agree on that.
Something you can play recreationally until old age too, certainly doubles if not singles.
Haven’t played for a few years now unfortunately, but will get back to it again.

Volleyball in my community didn't carry with it the cultural baggage of being a loser if you weren't good or flashy enough like basketball. And it was easier for totally untrained to start playing as opposed to something like tennis.
