I'd like to see San Diego get an NBA team. It is like the 7th biggest city in the US. Places like Kansas City and Pittsburgh are also options for a new NBA team.

Pittsburgh couldn't support 4 major sports teams.KC might be able to.I don't think San Diego will get an NBA team, even through its a big enough market,I don't see them getting one, they probably root for the Lakers.

I think Pittsburgh could support an NBA team. College basketball is popular there. However, I'd like to see a city that doesn't have a team get one.

Doesn't Pittsburgh already have enough professional sports teams? THe Steelers, the Pirates, the Penguins....Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Cleveland could all afford additional sports teams. Cleveland could use an NHL team, St. Louis and Pittsburgh an NBA team. Cleveland and St. Louis have had professional hockey and NBA teams in the past. The Atlanta Hawks used to be the St. Louis Hawks, and either the AHL or NHL had the Cleveland Barons.

I think Louisville could support an NBA team given how big college basketball already is in Kentucky.

Yes, I think they do have enough. That's why I'd like to see some other city get a team. I still think Omaha could support anything other than football.

Got it...sorry pittnurse...should've read your quote more carefully....it's late and I just got home from my summer job... Anyways...I guess Omaha could support a professional sports team...I don't know...i just really haven't seen any Great Plains state/semi-Great Plains state besides Texas and Colorado get a professional sports team yet. Don't know why....I'd rather not give my reasons for why this might be because I have no clue whether they are correct or not...

I agree that Pittsburgh would not support any additional franchises. They've already been teetering on the edge of losing the Penguins (to K.C.).
KC used to have an NBA team, which is now located in Sacramento. (The Maloofs now have the urge to move the team to Vegas.)
SD also used to have a team (the Clippers), but they moved to greener pastures in L.A.

St. Louis could support a 4th franchise I think. I doubt KC could support an NHL team, an NBA team, and an NFL team. Three probably...four is stretching it. St. Louis at one time had four franchises.

I think if Cleveland keeps losing population, they will lose one of thier franchises. Its sad but there does come a point when your city is small enough to not be able to support multiple teams.
