Québec needs an NHL team again! Also LA deserves another crack at having a pro football team. It's the second biggest city in the US for goodness sake, it's not like they're going to lack a fan base (I personally think they should move the Raiders back there).

Oklahoma City deserves the Sonics since they supported the Hornets so faithfully.
Also, MLB needs a franchise in North Carolina!!!

CT should get a pro team
CT would be a great place to have a sports team. The ESPN headquarters is loacted in bristol,CT. So games of the pro team would be on ESPN getting national coverage and great revnue. Also we have some great large cities that could support a team, Hartford,Newhaven,Bridgeport or New London. We have the largest casino in the world in CT which is Foxwoods and we have another Known Casino Moghean Sun. So Ct having sports team would get alot of attendance and alot of money. We should get an NBA team cause your not going to find alot of Celtics or Knicks fans here. Also NFL team would be good because alot of people hate the Patriots so they like either Jets or Giants which is all the way in New Jersey.

i agree with you i deffenetly think if you put a NBA Team in Hartford it would be succesfull at least finacally i mean Hartford has a Metro population of like 1.2 Million a i think they might have a Tuff time supporting a NFL team but i do think it could work and im still pissed that the Patriots move to Hartford fell apart.

MLB Expansion
I'd have MLB expand the AL by two teams, raising it from 14 teams to 16 as in the NL. My suggestions are:
1. Las Vegas gets an AL team. Goes into the Western Div, which only has 4 teams. No other division in baseball has only 4 teams. There are NL teams in Phoenix and Denver but no team between Phoenix and the west coast. Las Vegas is a big town with the critical mass to support a team. Its adds something to do for a change of pace besides sit in a casino all the time, but is compatible with that larger theme of the city.
2. Havana gets an AL team. Goes into the Eastern Div. Baseball is huge in the Caribbean, especially Cuba. Post-Castro, we should offer a team to Havana as a gesture to let old bygones be bygones, jumpstart modern investment there, generate tourism, and create decent economic conditions so Cubans will no longer need to flee to Miami.

Yea Hartford could support a team. I guess an NFL team probbaly wouldnt work even though the Pats were going to move to Hartford which dfrench pointed out. I know alot of people that want the Hartford Whalers back which wouldnt be a bad idea even though i barely follow hockey but its crazy how people say providence would be a good place for a team, Rhode Island is like the 2nd smallest state if not the smallest state. So CT should get a team NBA would be more Ideal because theres no point of MLB because theres Yankees,Redsox,Mets right around the area and everyone is fan of one of those teams. I mean still NFL wouldnt be a bad idea because we dont have anything The moghean sun wolves AFL team left CT and Uccon football sucks so it would be great to bring football back to CT but bringing an NBA or NFL team would be nice...........or NHL. And there would be no point putting a MLB team in Cuba or anywere because population is low there and Crime is bad and Poverty. And probbaly like all the Carribean stars would want to go to that team to be close to their country which would be bad for their team like David Ortiz or Albert Pujols going to a carribean team. Plus MLB is only North America i mean i'd accept a Mexico city team rather then a Cuba team not trying to be racist but it makes sense in MLB its all in America except for Toronto Blue jays and Expos left Canada. But anyway CT should get a sports team and ill be happy to answer any replys!

If you don't count Hockey, then San Jose will be the largest metro without one.
Las Vegas would be next.
Others would include Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Newport News) in Virginia, Columbus in Ohio, Nashville in Tennessee, Providence in Rhode Island, Austin in Texas, Richmond in Virginia, Louisville in Kentucky, Oklahoma City in Oklahoma and others I can't think of right now.
Do you think any of those areas could support a top 3 professional sports team (MLB, NBA, NFL)? Or should we just move around the teams in cities that currently have one?

L.A. should have a pro football team........and as for the most deserving city without a team i think Oklahoma City should be next because of the way their fans showed up to all of those Hornets Basketball games....Then Maybe Las Vegas after that

Louisville could do the NBA - if Sacramento can support it, Louisville can. Basketball is good for the niche markets - you do not need >50,000 people to show up to a basketball game. They could also pick up fans from elsewhere in Kentucky and Cincinnati/SW Ohio. Indianapolis is far enough away, Evansville/southern Indiana can be in the Louisville fanbase mix. It'll fly if they get a team.
Houston has MLB, NFL and NBA - I think it can support the NHL. The city has hockey history with the WHA. The minor-league Aeros draw nearly 6K a game on average and drew some near-NHL size crowds while they were in the IHL. 6K isn't a lot, but they aren't watching the big boys either.
Kansas City was the favorite over Houston for the Penguins relocation that didn't happen (for now) - is KC a better NHL market than Houston?

I grew up in Oklahoma but have lived in California for about 27 years and San Jose is not the next new virgin market for Professional Sports , because San Jose Already has or had Professional Sports Teams Such As The Golden States Warriors when the Arena was being upgraded in Oakland The San Jose Earthquakes Soccer Team that was moved to Houston Texas (NHL) Sharks and Hot Off Of The Press The San Francisco 49'er are building a venue in Santa Clara......The San Francisco Giants Would Come To San Jose if they could, but the Giants Have A Contract With( MLB )that they would NEVER BE ABLE TO MOVED TO SAN JOSE
Now let me see , if I was a betting man which I'm not I would BET YOU a million dollars That Las Vegas Will Not Get A Team...It's All About The Gambling My Dear Friend....And here something Else To Think About LAS VEGAS Doesn't even SUPPORT THEIR MINOR LEAGUE TEAMS....
