US Open starts today. Weather supposed to be a significant issue with thunder storms today, tomorrow and potentially Sunday.

Tiger is out with an injury which sucks, but the way some of these other guys are playing right now, I don't think we will see a shortage of some great golf.

I hate being at work Thursday/Friday of majors.....

Regarding Tiger, for every step he takes forward he seems to be taking two steps back. His left knee has been operated on four times, from what I've been reading online. On top of that is the problem he is having with his achilles tendon.

Still, am looking forward to viewing it.

Yeah, even though I don't truly believe it, it really does seem to be some karma-type punishment for his infidelity. Anything that can go wrong seems to, right now for him.

You'd think the karma god would have known about his infidelity all along and not have to read about it in the National Enquirer along with the rest of us to first find out.

Extremely impressive win for Rory.

Lot's of extremely nice comments made about this young man as well as his beautiful golf swing and short game.

I didn't hear anything before the tournament began, but was this year's setup a lot easier than other US Open's? Rory's score was still great, but even the other players shot uncharacteristically low scores for a US Open.

I think I heard that they changed a long par 4 into a par 5 which can make a pretty big diff over 72 holes of golf. Other than that, I am not sure, but I agree the scores were much lower than a usual US Open.
