Yep, glad it is finally here! We have been waiting all year! Loved that the All Blacks rocked Italy's world. Should be no problem for them to advance out of pool C. Just hope they do not blow it after that!

What a great opening weekend. Twas nice to see all of the underdog teams putting in such a strong show. The US were particularly impressive against England. Good luck to them against Tonga on Wednesday!

I think it was more a cause of England being off form that the US being impressive. Ireland beat Namibia well, but judging by the performance I cannot see us winning another game. We will have to step it up 100% to even have a chance of progressing.

I can't believe that we can't watch it without having to pay for some premium sports channel. My local paper doesn't even print results on the scoreboard, but believe, I'm following the results online.

I am getting ready to call Direct TV and cancel my subscription to Setanta sports! I cannot believe they are putting all the good games (ie New Zealand, Australia and South Africa) on PPV! And then charging $24 to see it!

I did see a replay of a try on ESPNs "plays pf the day" between Japan and Fiji. I was totally shocked! I think that was the first time I have ever seen rugby covered on a US sports channel!

Most people here in the states do not know anything about rugby. Other than on college campuses, rugby is not a game that is played that much either. Unless you have lived abroad or had another reason to get interested, most could care less (my family spent several months May thru Nov. 2005 in Christchurch. watched a few games and got addicted). I have seen one highlight on ESPN's "Plays of the Week" a couple of weeks back, that has been about it. There is more money to be made in the other big sports here in the states!
