Normally Lesnar is a human wrecking machine but in his last UFC fight he looked rather scared as i remember watching him running away from his opponent (Overeem) lest he get another hit in the head.

Taker and HHH are doing pretty much the same thing just showing up for the main events once a year..
It's because the Rock has options and is only lured back to (I will not call it wrestling) with big bags of cash.

WWE etc. are pretty much soap operas with athleticism. I'd as soon was The Days of Our Lives or General Hospital.

Not trying to say wrestling is the best show on tv but some of us get it and derive some entertainment value from it,if The Days of Our Lives or General Hospital is your tv preference thats good for you but i'm not sure why you would come on to a topic devoted to wrestling to tell us you prefer afternoon soap operas..

WWE needs to get off the whole evil GM character. 10+ years of Vince McMahon's evil boss schtick was long in the tooth as it was, but they go with Johnny Ace in the same role?

It's like they take scripts from 5-10 yrs ago, erase out McMahon's name and put in Ace's.

Personally, I'd rather go with the evil boss schtick.

Only if it's done right...

I think professional wrestling peaked in 80's to the late 90's back when they pushed the envelope during the attitude era after that ended it became terrible and people tuned out and the UFC came along and took the 18-35 Demographic..

I mean you can track the Rise of the UFC in popularity to the Decline of the WWE in popularity pretty much.

In 1995, WCW actually held a wrestling event in North Korea which today, is a bit on the creepy side. This is crazy.

WWE looks to me like its not in decline as its RAW and Smackdown brands seem to be selling to packed arenas and they even have the NXT brand. Its current product may not suit some but the new generation is eating it up.
I.m not sure that UFC has taken many of WWE viewers as the two products are quite different the WWE being about Storylines, entertainment and colorful superstars whereas UFC is about fighting.
