Trailer park morality play or is there actually some 'there' there?

It is what it is, professional play fighting. i find the story lines quite entertaining and the actual wrestling kinda boring.

Puzzling how the WWE can fill stadiums twice a week with 20-60K people but no one ever talks about the events or the entertainment it provides.

Great, more pro wrestling bashing.

Did you come up with this idea on your golden toilet....?

I like wrestling , if you do to speak up, wish there were enough interest to gain a topic section.
How about the return of Brock?
What happened to Mysterio?
Looks like the Miz has had his 15 minutes.
Vicky G has got to be the most irritating woman in the world.
.
How you liking the other league? Impact

- Glad Lesner's back, but who know's how long that's gonna be?
- I think Rey's out with way too many injuries. Plus he's gettin' old and will join Taker, HHH, HBK, and all the other's not too long from now.
- .... I don't know what they're doin' with The Miz. He had a pretty good run as the top heel for a while. Don't know what's next.
- Vicky is irrelevant.

Impact to me is like an even poorer man's version of the WCW.

I thought the recent Rock/Cena match was a bit of a raw deal for Cena who is there every week doing his thing while the Rock just parachutes in for the one time event gets a whole bunch of money and we'll never see him again.
Taker and HHH are doing pretty much the same thing just showing up for the main events once a year..

Pro wrestling is fun stuff, it's just entertainment you don't have to think about. I don't watch it as much as I used to, a lot of my favorites are old or retired. My screenname comes from Impact Wrestling star "Phenomenal" AJ Styles. They have wrestling fans of all education levels but there is a segment of redneck fans. It's almost shameful for an adult man to admit he likes wrestling, that's thought of as a nerdly interest. I remember it didn't matter as much in the 90's when wrestling was way more popular.

I've been a wrestling fan since the late 60's, i remember watching it every Saturday morning, Buddy Colt was the king of the ring back in those days, well at least in the league i was watching as this was before McMahon started amalgamating all the wrestling alliances.

I watched a ton of pro wrestling growing up and even remember my mom taking me to watch live matches back in the 70s (Nashville, TN area).. Tommy Rich, Jackie Fargo and Tojo Yamamoto were some of the headliners back then. There was a time in the mid to late 80s were I turned off pro wrestling thinking It was stupid and anyone who watched it was stupid as well. I think I was more embarrassed to admit watching it then anything.

Then something happened in the late 90s and I turned it back on. I grew up a little and stopped caring as much about what others thought of me. To me its not any different than watching day time soap operas or prime time drama series..... This was about the time there were two factions.. (WWF and WCW). It was nice to have 2 competitors vying for my attention.. heck I gave it to both outfits freely. I was an avid fan for several years up until my 3 year old son climbed up on the coach one evening and drop an elbow on my infant daughter.. hum. mom said NO MORE. So, I have not watched any in several years but definitely understand the appeal and hope that someday I will get to turn it back on..
