OKC doesn't deserve this team. Seattle Sonics must stay in Seattle. The worst team in NBA this year and KeyArena is almost full every game

Key arena is full this year because it has become a novelty and it is also easily filled because it is sooo teeny weeny.

It only seats 17000? Isnt that a bit low considering the size of Seattle? It is a tiny ity bity arena. In OKC we have two. One seats 21 the other seats 16. The 16 is for minor league hockey......

Also, the Supersonics headquarters are located in the Oklahoma tower in OKC.

I would like to see the Supes stay because the Hornets will be leaving Nawlins soon. What a stupid city(NO)! Pay for a 20 million practice facility and the whole area is gone! Schools/Poverty/Horrible attendance. What a disaster...I heard Chris Paul was horrified upon landing into his new home. When you leave the airport the surrounding area looks like a war zone...

The Hornets need to move back to OKC (DUH) and yes the Supes should be saved by Gates...Too bad he doesnt want to invest and Seattle has to suck up and build microsoft a 4 billion dollar bridge!!

I think it would be cool/interesting if Wichita Kansas got one - the rivalry between Kansas and Missouri would be HUGE! Maybe even bigger than the NCAA KU and MU rivalry...

Hey, I have an idea! How about a joint Austin-San Antonio NFL team?

San Antonio and Austin are only 1 1/2 hr. away from each other and have so many growing cities on the highway between them [San Marcos, New Braunfels, Schertz].

San Antonio and Austin are both football crazy and are getting tired of supporting the Cowboys.

We need our own team!
I agree!

Well.... except for Austin. Not that they shouldn't have a pro-team, but I think there are too many loyal Spurs, Mavs, and Rockets fans living there already to support a team. Also, there probably isn't the population base in the SA-Austin area (3.5 mill.) to support two NBA teams. Maybe Austin could get an MLB team, and the region could get an NFL team.... they could build the stadium right in-between Austin and SA, which turns out to be right in between New Bruanfels and San Marcos.

Closest cities to Vegas of any population (if you call over around 200 miles "close") are Phoenix (already has teams) & San Bernardino (LA teams). Even Reno is not close. Vegas would need a thriving tourist industry to fill their stadium because the population is not in Nevada or "near"by.
Clark County (Vegas) is 2 million alone... Thriving tourist industry? There is no "If you build it they will come". LOL they're already here, it's Vegas baby!
