She is the greatest, period. If she wakes up like playing properly, 99.9% of the tour stands no chance, while Sharapova and Azarenka need to be in a nearly perfect day to stand one. That's a level of dominance never seen before. Seriously, the only person I have seen winning a match vs a top level Serena is Justine Henin.
Serena played an amazing tournament! She has shown that when she is at her best, NO ONE, can beat her! If she doe not win Wimbledon, I will be in shock.
Female sports, especially tennis, are as good as most sports. Kelly Holmes winning two athletic golds in Athletics, Laura Trott blowing away everyone in the veledrome with track cycling etc are some of my favourite sporting memories.

Good for you.....I couldn't care less. As someone who attends many sporting events and helps pay the players wages.....I find it ridiculous what the women tennis players are paid. Best of three sets, poor quality of product, poor field depth, lack of commitment and dedication to the sport relative to the men, many have a very stuck up attitude........ and they are paid similar to the men.....what a joke.
I think the womens game is better, less based on power and more on skill. More fun to watch too =)
You don't think the Williams sisters, Sharapova, Ivanovic, Mauresmo, Davenport are (were) ball bashers? Who would you consider to be a particularly skilled player on the women's side?
