I think Isner's serve were just spot on. And, Djokovic made tons of mistake on that match including double faults at critical moments and hitting the net.
That was like almost half a decade ago, and that was Del Potro's BEST performance EVER.
A guy who knows a lot more about tennis than either of us, John McEnroe, though Delpo's match against Djokovic this year at Wimbledon this year was his best ever, even though he lost.

He clearly is an old dude and has memory lost about what happened in 2009.
Although if you read the comments below the match, and the Murray-Berdych, you'd think that Nadal was competing in every match.
Every comment seems to divert to Nadal the goat and should be Number 1, so boring and elitist, which I have stated.
If Isner can get >80% if 1st serves in, like he did against Joker, then he is in with a show.
Isner has been playing consistent tennis, and I think it was a mistake that Top 10 players, bar Del Potrol, did not compete in Atlanta or Washington DC.
Nadal though, is on a roll, and it seems that is unlikely to end until New York.
Notice that my post about Isner vs. Djokovic-Del Potro-Nadal was posted before the Nadal vs. Berdych match even started. Because I can safely bet that Nadal will win. The same can't be said if it was Murray vs. Berdych. I might even bet against Murray.
Rafa is CLEARLY the one to beat going into the Open.
Joker and Lucky Andy know this.
In fact, I believe Rafa has really gotten into their heads with his recent hard-court success ... and will take full advantage of their choke-artist tendencies if/when he faces them in NY.
Heck of a run in Cincy for Big John, by the way ... but way too many unforced errors to take out a player of Rafa's caliber. Hopefully he'll have another fine showing in the coming weeks.
Can't wait for the action to get underway at Flushing Meadows
As always, we'll be pulling for The Great Swiss to bag # 18...
