I think that's baseball's biggest problem.
For many such as some younger people, or not everyday fans, It's considered too slow, and it's too boring at least to watch. That's not a good combo.

Define "popular". If referring to revenue it's the NFL. Hands down. If referring to actual participation, it's probably soccer.
