Joe Buck is so anti Boston......
The problem I find with Fox sports is that they are so busy showing commercials and all their fancy graphics that noone seems to care about that you miss parts of the game and it is usually all the good parts.

Phil Sims is another irritating moron....not sure if he is Fox.

Yup. It's all in the name of drawing "new fans", except I can't think of any reason why "new fans" would ever be lured by exploding graphics, while it all extracurricular crap drives current fans up the wall.

Good call. The one I watched with him annoucning was the most boring game. If I was back home I'd put the TV on mute and turn the radio on to listen to the announcers!

What about NFL Network?

If you want to hear really bad grammar and mispronounced words, listen to a football game. And usually the ex-sports jock is the worst. [these are people with college/university degrees] They have a problem pronouncing the word THEM as im, um, thim, thum. And an annoying habit of ending sentences with the word AT.

FOX has the best NFL coverage (my opinion), and the best pre-game personalities (Bradshaw, Howie Long, etc).
And I wish FOX would bring back some NHL coverage, minus the glowing pucks..

Fox Sports is such an abomination that I have actually started to go back to watching live games and enjoying a real life spectacle.

[quote=Frank the Tank;2346042]I'm pretty sure that Bryant Gumbel had never watched a football game prior to his first game on the NFL Network, so I'm not sure why he ought to be paid more than anyone in this forum.[/QUOTE
