I know a guy that's 36 and will call his mom to have her make his doctor's appointments and hair appointments so I'm going to assume that this is at least a halfway serious thread.
It's swimming lessons so those women don't care if you can swim or not because obviously they are there to learn also. It seems more like you're afraid and are just looking for a reason to get out of it, no matter how foolish it sounds.
That means they are all ladies and all not my age. This makes it seem weird

Look, the reason you're taking swimming lessons is to try to learn to swim better (which is also the reason the women in the class are taking the lessons). You're not there to have relationships with these women, and they aren't there to make fun of you. Take the swimming lessons, and enjoy the experience. Maybe you can even become casually friendly with your fellow students.
