American Pharoah is wearing an aluminum pad. That means he is nursing some injury. Can't trust him. Frosted for the score today.

He wore the pad also for the Arkansas Derby and the Rebel Stakes, won both races.

You can only hold off the malady for so long. Eventually it will manifest into medical impediment. 12 furlongs on a questionable hoof?

12 furlongs is questionable for any horse for heavens sake. We may not see a triple crown winner, but I still went with him. It is out of heart and hope, just like many are seeing the race. Hubby is cheering for him as well but did put his money on Frosted. We both have long shots to show. Of course we are not heavy betters, we splurge and bet $2 bucks across the board or $5 to show.

Not seeing that without all combinations shown.

1,5 with 1,5 in the unclear part.
They may not finish 1-5 in the top three, they could finish 5-1 in the top three.
---------------------------------------------------
Here is an example:
You like five horses, (1, 2, 4, 5, and 6) but you really think horses 2 and 4 have an exceptional chance of finishing in the top three positions. Rather than box five horses at a cost of $60 you could play the following.

· $1 trifecta part wheel 2,4 WITH 2,4 WITH 1,5,6 = 6 $1 combinations = $6.

· $1 trifecta part wheel 2,4 WITH 1,5,6 WITH 2,4 = 6 $1 combinations = $6.

· $1 trifecta part wheel 1,5,6 WITH 2,4 WITH 2,4 = 6 $1 combinations = $6.

Total Cash Outlay = $18.

It's the 2,4 with 2,4 not clearly seen.

The top 6 $1 combos for $6 should be:
2-4-1
2-4-5
2-4-6
1-2-4
5-2-4
6-2-4
If that is not right then.....we'll try next year.

We need to see a list of all 18 to see it.
2nd and 3rd set = ?

It shouldn't be a problem unless he loses it during the race. I just don't know if he has the breeding for this. We'll see.

He's a nice horse, I don't care for the owners.

Ohhhh howard..you sound like you've been around the track a few times..LOL
Folks like me who love horses and appreciate them..am actually interested this year in this race..American Pharaoh ..sounds like he's a one of those special ones....Trying to predict if he can run the longest race of them all..kinda spreads the questions since None of the horses this year has run that far..

So I hope for the best and will congratulate the winner and Pray that no horse has any injuries...I hate watching races for that reason..Horses will give you their all..THAT's all I can say right now..as I'm going to hold my breath until post race...It's one of those races when I will watch with hands over eyes with one finger allowing view..LOL

I'm no gambler or has BET on any race....But, I do wish anyone with $ on the race to do well!! Good Luck!!
