I voted in the poll before I read your post - basketball is the only sport I follow that these athletes are in, and I really hate Kobe Bryant.
As for right now - I think out of this list it's probably Floyd Mayweather.
But I think LeBron James should also replace Kobe Bryant in the poll if you're asking who's the most hated "right now". Kobe's still in the league but has been irrelevant the past few years with injuries.
Yeah LeBron over Kobe for sure, and I like LeBron and dislike Kobe. haha As a life long Lakers fan Kobe has always been a bane for me - even with the championships. Just do not like the guy.
Floyd wins that list though. Nothing redeeming about him whatsoever.
All three players have had hall of fame careers regardless of how much they are hated. To put lebron on this list is adding another great to it. It is no in their nature to be like or loved, they are competitors, that is the only reason they are even being spoken of.
In absolute numbers Cristiano Ronaldo (not Christiano) for sure. The reason is simple - basketball and boxe aren't as popular as football (soccer) worldwide. In % of fans of each sport then I think Mayweather is the most hated.

Soccer is actually the most watched sport in the world in % of fans with basketball being 3rd and boxing not even rounding out the top 10. The difference id basketball and soccer is not as large as you'd think. In all reality the most hated played could be the likes of a basketball player such as Lebron after what he had done in his "decision" when he left his hometown of Cleveland. Either way, to be hated means that you area global icon, and always will be, so in this case i'm sure he does not mind.
