I’ll stick with the positions they actually played:
PG - Magic
SG - Jordan
SF - Bird
PF - Duncan
C - Chamberlain
Bird over James/Durant was a tough call, but his perimeter scoring would complement the others. I chose Duncan over Barkley (tougher defender) because of his scoring ability and overall unselfishness having four other legends on the court.
The only debate for me was Jordan or Kobe & I call it a tie. Make them share playing time. It'd do those 2 good. And people are really picking Bird over LeBron?
PG: Magic
SG: Jordan or Kobe
SF: LeBron
PF: Duncan
C: Kareem
I have never been a big LeBron fan, and still put MJ ahead of him, but any list without him on it just is silly. He can legitimately be penciled in at PG, SF or PF. You don’t have to like him to know he belongs on this list.
