Off the top of my head;
Mike Tyson vs Mohamed Ali
Just about everyone would have love to have seen it.
My pick is Tyson would eventually get through the defence of Ali, and take it.
Michael Johnson vs Usain Bolt over 200 Meters.
Johnson still holds the 400 meter world record and has an incredible combination of speed and stamina, and held the 200 meters for a long time before Bolt pipped it.
Bolt is sizzling over 100 meters, and as stated now holds the 200 meter world record.
200 meters is the ultimate "middle ground"" meeting, I think Johnson has it.
