Default Great Weekend of Stakes races on tap

Looks like the most exciting weekend of racing so far this year. Download the past performances and lets pick some winners and make some loot No sense in sitting there like a lump and passively watching a game. Exercise your mind and put your opinion to the test.

Sat Laurel race 8 Campbell handicap
Naughty New Yorker ships out of New York for the first time to Laurel for the Campbell. Angliana also shipps down from New York to renew their rivalry. I still remember when they knocked Evening Attire over the rail when he raced in this race 5 years ago. Rooting for all time great Samyn to get his big horse home.

Sat Tampa Race 9 Endevour stakes

This is a extraordinary race for the purse and the Grade. Graded winners Dreaming of Anna, Lears Princess, Take The Ribbon and Meribel all line up for a mere $150K purse. Gomez even ships in to ride. The racing secretary is getting a ton of value for his $150K purse. Have to take a hard look here, but my first inclination would be Lears Princess. Sorry Uncle Frank.

Sat Santa Anita Race 8 San Carlos
This race features the return of Derby chalk Circular Quay. Toss him and go for value. Greg's Gold might be a no-brainer, I will let you now how he feels after the Greg meetings Fri night.

Mon Laurel Race 8 General George

Big test for the undefeated Bustin Stones who is as fast as lightning. Looks like the front is all his if Normandy scratches as expected. Stormin Normandy is entered to run at Aqueduct on Saturday, if he runs here it is two races in 48 hours for him.

Good luck to everybody!!

I`ll go with Lears Princess if only for the fact the sire won me a few quid back in the 80s a few times,,
IMO his best performance..

Default Re cap

Sat Laurel race 8 Campbell handicap
It was a great weekend of racing at the track around the US.

Naughty New Yorker scratched out of the Campbell. The race was won in a gamely performance by Todd Pletchers Nite Lite from off the pace.

Naughty New York was entered in a stakes on Monday at Aqueduct and stalked the pace before drawing off to a hands down win by 12 lengths. Naughty New Yorker is approaching $1 million in earnings.

Sat Tampa Race 9 Endevour stakes
This race was a Humdinger. Champion filly Dreamin of Anna set the pace, Lears Princess cut the corner on the top of the stretch and boldly tried to run down Frank Calabrese's champion filly Dreaming of Anna but Dreaming of Anna gamely held the lead and won the nod is a tight photo finish.

Sat Santa Anita Race 8 San Carlos
Derby runner Circular Quay was up the track as expected, the race was won by Surf Cat with Gregs Gold second.

Mon Laurel Race 8 General George
Bustin Stones shipped down to Maryland with the intention of strutting his stuff. I had no less than $100 to win on Bustin Stoines. You can check out the replay to see if I won and if it was an exciting contest.
