People pretending this is Johnny Carson signing off for the last time. Flagship stations proliferate as a cost saving measure for all these ESPN affiliates you hear nowadays. Broadcast radio is just a microcosm of the 21st century business model. Stations broadcast this show all over the country because they HAVE TO. Nothing personal against these two, but there is nothing iconic about them or the show. I've caught bits and pieces of them on long car rides in the morning with nothing but antiquated AM/FM radio with a CD player. Its just another vanilla point-of-view that isn't enlightening and touches on the same lame topics that have been shoved down one's throats else where. However, at least they aren't riddled with the same factual errors you hear on other ESPN and FOX sports shows. Its amazing with some of the others- I'll only listen for 5 minutes here and there, and the errors, or harping on the same lame topics like what Lebron James said on Twitter- its quite amazing.
