Without a doubt she is one of the sports personalities I least like on the planet.
She and the US Figure Skating International Committee screwed Mirai Nagasu four years ago, and once again she is fourth place at the national championships and totally angling to screw over most likely third place finisher Karen Chen (to get a berth on the Olympic team again).
Won't she just go away?

The 2016 World silver medalist and 2014 Olympian was awarded fourth place at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships after what she clearly believed was a podium-worthy performance.
And she ripped into the judges after the competition.

I used to be a skater. The Judges are corrupt and aren't out to reward the best. If you want to win you have to pay them off and get out. Like Tara Lapinski.
Tonya Harding thought merit would get her anything... she didn't realize merit was meaningless.
No reason to watch figure skating anymore as the results are in the bag from the start.
We should have crowd judging via the internet.

Tara earned every win she got. I loved Michelle, but she choked at both 1997 Nationals and Worlds as well as the Grand Prix Final, and she did one of the best LP's ever performed a month too early in 1998, whereas Tara skated lights-out, like she was out to WIN the title in Nagano.

She's behaving like a brat. I used to be a competitive baton twirler, and it was DRILLED into our heads that you accept gracefully the results of the competition, especially if you made mistakes, and you save your crying about it for in the car on the way home. You don't throw snit fits at the competition in front of everybody. Lack of class and sportsmanship. Competition, like the rest of life, is not always fair.

Fortunately the committee ignored her. Karen Chen is going to the Olympics.
